An Intelligent Insurer panel last month discussed the new class of Bermuda Reinsurers shaking up the start-up model.
Peter Horrobin, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Banyan Risk, a SiriusPoint-incubated D&O specialist managing general agent, joined Prashanth Gangu, Chief Operations Officer and President, Insurance and Services at SiriusPoint.
With SiriusPoint’s focus on developing partnerships with specialist MGAs, Prashanth commented: “… an MGA model lets you focus a lot more on the customers and the problem you’re trying to solve, coming up with innovative products…”
