Chris Reynolds, Head of Life Pricing at SiriusPoint and Chair of the Continuous Mortality Investigation (CMI) Assurances Committee, introduces a new working paper which considers, in detail, the experience of critical illness policies over a period impacted by the pandemic.
Writing for the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries Blog, Chris reports on the findings in Working Paper 167, recently launched by the CMI Assurances Committee, which analyses the causes of critical illness claims between 2017 and 2020.
