Artificial intelligence (AI) and the impact on the (re)insurance sector was in focus at this year’s Bermuda Captive Conference, as SiriusPoint’s Justin Willmott joined a panel to explore the opportunities and threats AI could pose across the sector.
Justin shared his views on the accelerated use of AI, which were captured in an article in Royal Gazette: “There are all sorts of unforeseen consequences to the rapid adoption of AI within the insurance world… For example, it can be used to deploy phishing emails at a scale, that before now, was just unimaginable.”
