Last week Rachael Dugan, Chief Legal Officer and Chair of the SiriusPoint ESG Council, joined an Intelligent Insurer panel to discuss ESG in the re/insurance industry.
Commenting on regulatory requirements in different jurisdictions, including the EU and UK’s current mandatory Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures, and the US Securities and Exchange Commission mandating climate-risk disclosures from next year, Rachael said: “It all requires a tremendous undertaking in making sure that climate risk considerations are truly embedded in all parts of the business.”
